Munali Nickel Mine
Wardell Armstrong International undertook a detailed metallurgical testwork programme on samples of copper-nickel ore from Zambia. Testing was undertaken on both composite and variability samples.
Testing included a preliminary chemical and mineralogical characterisation study followed by an investigation into the feasibility of pre-concentration by heavy liquid separation. An extensive programme of flotation testing focussed on optimisation of copper and nickel grades and recoveries.
A site visit was also undertaken to provide assistance at a metallurgical facility in Beijing.
