Wardell Armstrong Help’s to Prepare the Next Generation of Engineers for Industry
Renewables Engineering Director, Adian Harber and Technical Director Jane Clarkson recently visited Newcastle University to undertake mock job interviews with some of the 4th year MEng in Civil Engineering students.
The aim of the mock interview exercise was to help prepare the students for ‘real life’ interviews, which will support them in a smoother transition into industry careers once they have graduated from university.
Aidan is an alumni of the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at Newcastle University and both him and Jane, who leads the Ground Engineering team in our Newcastle office, were pleased to be able to give something back in assisting the next generation of engineers. Aidan commented “It was a pleasure to meet such enthusiastic and strong candidates, who I am sure will have bright futures ahead of them”.
