Wardell Armstrong and McAuliffe Golf Day Raises £11,000 for the NSPCC

Wardell Armstrong again co-sponsored, together with McAuliffe, the NSPCC Golf Day on behalf of the Birmingham Business Board. Held for the third year at Edgbaston Golf Club, only a mile from Birmingham City Centre, 17 teams of 4 enjoyed a great day in glorious sunshine with the golf course looking a picture.

The Wardell Armstrong Team made up of Director Simon Hake, Associate Director Gary Hand, Associate Director Josh Broster and Geologist Alec Ovens, came second with a Texas Scramble score of 55 missing out by 0.2 for the top spot.

The day was a huge success with a fantastic £11,000.00 raised for the NSPPC at the event – thank you to all who attended and contributed to the very worthy cause.
