Northumberland Estates – Extensions to Longhoughton Quarry
Wardell Armstrong has prepared complex planning applications and environmental impact assessments for extensions to Longhoughton Quarry, a hardstone quarry on the great whin sill. Using our inhouse expertise we have modelled the extensions to workings, and coordinated advice on a range of technical specialisms including archaeology and water management. We prepared a detailed public exhibition in the nearby village to engage with local residents and supervised the applications through the planning process.
