Tulkubash Gold Deposit
Wardell Armstrong International undertook a detailed metallurgical investigation on samples from the Tulkubash gold deposit, Krygyzstan, to determine the optimal heap leach conditions and provide confirmation of likely gold recoveries.
The testwork programme included comminution work, coarse bottle rolls testing and column leach tests on composite samples. Column leach tests were also undertaken on a number of variability samples to allow for localised variations across the deposit.
A suite of environmental tests including ABA, NAG and humidity cell tests were undertaken to determine the potential for waste samples to produce acid rock drainage (ARD).
