Barruecopardo Tungsten Mine
Wardell Armstrong International undertook metallurgical and environmental testing on samples from the Barruecopardo tungsten mine in Spain. Testing was undertaken on composite and variability samples and included a broad range of gravity separation methods (Jigs, Spirals, and Shaking Tables) as well as a detailed suite of froth flotation tests.
Environmental testing on samples of tailings material was carried out to show there was no potential for the mine waste samples to generate acidic solutions potentially hazardous to the environment.
