Landgate
Wardell Armstrong undertook a Geo-Environmental Desk Study on a large agricultural land south of Wigan, for property developers, Greenbank Partnerships. The Desk Study formed part of an EIA undertaken by Wardell Armstrong that incorporated numerous disciplines including a Flood Risk Assessment, Drainage Strategy, Noise and Air Quality Assessments, Archaeology and Heritage Assessment, Ecology and Tree Survey, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Sustainability and Socioeconomic Assessment as well as a historic Coal Mining Risk Assessment. Wardell Armstrong successfully brought the development through the planning process and got planning permission in 2016.
Wardell Armstrong assisted the Greenbank Partnerships in assessing the abnormal costs associated with the development of the site as a residential housing estate that enabled an agreement to be reached between the vendor and the house builder in terms of the final land value.
