Groundwater Modelling Open Pit and U/G Mine, Kazakhstan
We designed a site investigation programme specifying drilling, packer testing, VWP installation and detailed water quality sampling. The results from the field work programme were used to construct a numerical groundwater model. The calibrated model assessed groundwater inflow rates, dewatering configurations, pore-water pressure and chemistry changes.
