ANNUAL RESOURCE AND RESERVE UPDATES, ICL GROUP UK, ISRAEL, CHINA & SPAIN
Wardell Armstrong International were the Qualified Persons for the year-end resource and reserve estimates for ICL Group operations including the ICL Boulby (United Kingdom), ICL Iberia comprising Cabanasses and Vilafruns (Spain), ICL Rotem including the Rotem, Oron, Zin, and Dead Sea Works (Israel) mining properties. The mining operations are a combination of a conventional open pit (Rotem), modified underground room and pillar (Boulby and Cabanasses/Vilafruns), and dredging (DWS); feeding processing plants which output various Potash and Polyhalite products based upon size fraction, product shape, product quality, and downstream requirements. All modifying factors had to be considered therefore a detailed understanding of the operation’s financial and technical prospects was required. A Technical Report Summary of the resources and reserves of the operations was prepared by us and filed for the New York Stock Exchange.
