Jo Celebrates 45 Years at Wardell Armstrong!

Jo Baillie started at Wardell Armstrong in 1974 and 45 years later, is currently our longest serving staff member. Jo joined the Firm as a Receptionist and has witnessed the Firm expand from one UK office to 10, plus two International offices.

Jo reflects on her time here: “Wardell Armstrong are a progressive company who are always looking to the future. I have seen so many positive changes over the last 45 years, with staff numbers rising from 34 to over 450!

All our offices have a pleasant atmosphere, are very friendly and the Directors are approachable and willing to listen. The employee benefits have always been good and appreciated over the years.

Why have I stayed for 45 years? Put simply I have always enjoyed my job and the people I work with. The diversity of the business also gives added security in an ever-changing industry. Wardell Armstrong care about their staff – you are not a number but a valued employee.”

Managing Director, Keith Mitchell recently presented Jo with a long service award and thanked her for her dedicated years’ of service.

Wardell Armstrong takes pride in its strong levels of staff retention and long serving staff; we currently have 50 employees who have been with the Firm for over 20 years.
