Members of our Archaeology team featured on BBC2’s ‘Great British Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo’ last week.

Technical Director, Frank Giecco talked to Michael about the finds that have been unearthed at the Cricket Club excavations as part of ‘Uncovering Roman Carlisle’, an award-winning project that we have been supporting since 2017. Michael visited both the excavation site and our office, where the finds are processed and recorded in our purpose-built facilities which provide finds analysis, palaeoenvironmental processing, post-excavation analysis, publication and outreach.
