The geotechnical section provides surface and underground mining geotechnical design services for current projects and historical mining sites. Geotechnical engineers often work in conjunction with environmental scientists and hydrogeologists on these projects, and with local technical counterparts in country.

Our experience is largely in Russia and former Soviet states, Eastern Europe, and in South America, and our projects include base and precious metal mines. We are experienced with the design of open pit slopes, waste dumps and tailings facilities, geotechnical slope stability and foundation assessments, hydrogeological modelling and impact assessments, and underground stability assessments.
