Wardell Armstrong moves to new high profile
corporate headquarters in North Staffordshire. Sir
Henry Doulton House, former head office of Royal Doulton, has
become the hub of a national and international operation with expertise ranging
from ground engineering and environmental services to minerals and clean energy.
More than 120 staff
relocated from Wardell Armstrong’s existing head office split between two sites
in the centre of Newcastle under Lyme.
"This is a huge and exciting step for Wardell
Armstrong. Sir Henry Doulton House is a fabulous working space and will make
superb headquarters for our business," said Colin Brown, the
firm’s Deputy Managing Director.
"As well as giving us much-needed space for growth,
this move will act as a catalyst for change
not only for our headquarters, but throughout the whole of our business. We had
simply outgrown our offices in Newcastle; we needed space for expansion and high
quality accommodation to bring our staff together under one roof. The new
headquarters is exactly what we were looking for – a high profile building in a
superb location that provides a modern working
environment for staff" he added.
Operating both nationally and internationally – the
firm has a further eight offices and 200 staff based around the UK.
As well as new headquarters, Wardell Armstrong also
has a new main telephone number 0845 111 7777.
