Mineral Estate Management and Quarrying

With minerals such a highly specialised type of property, who do you turn to for expert advice to protect your interests, enhance value and avoid costly mistakes?

We’re trusted by some of the biggest mineral owners in the UK – including the Crown Estate, Church Commissioners, Forestry Commission and the Grosvenor Estate.

We negotiate mineral lease terms for landowners, manage their interests during the income stream, and make sure that land is properly restored at the end of the lease. Our thirteen chartered mineral surveyors - the largest independent team in the UK - works exclusively on these issues. They advise on all aspects of mineral property - from initial geological assessment to planning applications, extraction, sale and eventual restoration.

Our extensive knowledge of the factors that affect the mineral industry means we can give comprehensive advice to land and mineral owners on their financial dealings with the industry. We’re also experienced in related areas such as waste and recycling, compensation for sterilised or compulsorily acquired minerals, and valuations for taxation purposes. And of course you can tap into our wealth of related in-house expertise, from geotechnical to ecology and archaeology.
