Lundin Mining Corporation – USA

With headquarters in Toronto and listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Lundin Mining Corporation is a diversified base metals mining company with operations and projects in Portugal, Sweden, Spain and USA producing copper, zinc and nickel. They wanted an independent technical report prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 standards of disclosure for mineral projects on the Eagle mine - a development-stage small high grade copper-nickel sulphide underground mine and associated Humboldt mill in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our task was to complete it within 45 days of their announcing acquisition of the property from Rio Tinto.

Our qualified persons carried out personal inspections that reviewed all aspects of the project including geology, mineral resources, mining, processing, economics, and environmental and social issues. Mineral resources and mineral reserves signed off in accordance with the guidelines of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.

Following the successful acquisition of Eagle, Lundin filed the NI 43-101 report with the Canadian Securities Administrators on SEDAR, a mandatory document filing and retrieval system for all Canadian public companies.
