Archaeology

Our archaeologists are geared to provide specialist independent, expert advice to clients from all sectors of the development industry. This is achieved through the production of a comprehensive archaeological desk-based assessment of the proposed design scheme. The assessments cover all heritage planning issues from Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Listed Buildings through to Conservation Areas and historic landscapes as well as archaeological remains.

Our archaeologists have a broad range of skills, specialisms and regional research interests and are able to provide up to date professional advice on projects in regions ranging from Scotland to Cornwall and from the prehistoric period to monuments associated with the Second World War.

We are fully conversant in all areas of Heritage Law and are able to give expert advice on all aspects of legislation relating to Heritage features.
