Brookhay/Twin Rivers

Brookhay/Twin Rivers

A mixed use development of approximately 830 hectares of land to the east of the A38, between Burton-on-Trent and Lichfield, comprising commercial, business, watersports and open space in the northern section of the site, and comprising residential, district/local centres, schools, employment uses and open space in the southern section.

We are currently undertaking an EIA and will submit an Environmental Statement to accompany the planning application for this proposal, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning. As part of this work we are in the process of undertaking and reporting findings for a suite of ecological surveys of the site including extended phase habitat 1 survey and protected species surveys for great crested newt, reptiles, badgers, bats, water vole, as well as a range of bird surveys including barn owl, kingfisher and golden plover surveys. We will be providing advice on appropriate mitigation and compensation that can be implemented to ensure the maintenance of all protected species on site during and after the development of the site.
