- Developing and implementing
innovative mineral projects in post conflict regions, fragile states,
conservation and protected areas
- Capacity building and
institutional strengthening of decentralised Governmental institutions to assist
with good governance and the management of
mineral resources
- Formulating a conducive minerals
policy and helping to mainstream mining sector development within national
development and poverty reduction strategies
- Helping to develop enabling and
transparent legal and regulatory frameworks to promote sustainable private
sector led mineral development
