Tree Preservation Orders, Brecon Beacons

Tree Preservation Orders, Brecon Beacons

Wardell Armstrong undertook a contract to review Tree Preservation Orders for the Brecon Beacon National Park Authority between autumn 2015 and spring 2016

This involved two weeks of surveying various sites within the National Park to assess the health, safety and visual prominence of the subject trees for their continued suitability for protection by TPO.

Following the site surveys, we plotted the trees on MapInfo GIS and completed the schedule of trees to be protected for each new Order. We finalised the new TPO maps and Orders and the associated paperwork for serving the new Orders, and so that the older reviewed Orders could be revoked. All work was completed on schedule to the satisfaction of the National Park Authority.
